Hot Chocolate Dry Recipe

This is a hot chocolate dry recipe that you can store in an air tight container and use when needed.

Ingredients

6 tbsp cocoa
6 tbsp Sugar
Pinch of Salt
½ tbsp Vanilla
Pinch of Cinnamon

Milk
Cream

Mix the cocoa, sugar, salt, vanilla and cinnamon together. You can store this mix and use as required.

To make a mug of hot chocolate put ¾ of a mug of milk and ¼ of a mug of light cream into a saucepan. Heat to just below boiling point. Add 3 heaped tbsp of the hot chocolate powder to the pan and heat until it has dissolved. Add more powder to taste. Add more powder to taste. Poor into a mug and leave to cool until it is comfortable to drink.

You can also add some orange zest for flavour.

This hot chocolate has a vanilla flavour to it but you could also use mint, fudge or caramel flavouring instead of the vanilla.
